Share Underwrites a $13,700,000 Bond Issue For Rocky Mountain Christian Church
Dallas, TX, June 15, 2007 — Share Financial Services, Inc., an investment banking company specializing in church and non-profit finance since 1970, announced today the completion of its largest bond financing of $13,700,000 for Rocky Mountain Christian Church. This was for the construction and permanent financing for a 66,000 square foot satellite campus in Fredrick, Colorado. Share was the lead investment banker in this financing and arranged for a strategic partner, B. C. Ziegler, to do a financing of $4,550,000 in December 2006 to pay for certain costs of the Frederick campus.
The church is located on a 55-acre campus in Niwot, Colorado and has worship attendance in excess of 2,200 people at weekend services. Share was engaged as the church’s agent to sell on a best efforts basis up to $13,700,000 in principal amount of the 2007 Series A Bonds for the 30 acre Fredrick Campus project. This bond offering was made available to members, friends of the Church and to the general public. Both simple interest and compound interest bonds were sold ranging in interest rate from 6.25% to 8.0%.
Charles Major, President of Share Financial, said “I am very pleased that we could serve Rocky Mountain Christian Church with this financing. This is an example where the Company’s financial counsel to the church led to an opportunity for Share to provide this bond financing. I am also proud to say that this is the largest financing that has been done by our Company.” This financing provided a 20-year fixed rate mortgage for the church.
